Our relationship with elected officials is backwards; they are no longer afraid of us, but we are afraid of what they can do to us. They have told us what light bulbs we may use, what cars we may drive, and what guns we may own. We have to replace the congressmen who would restrict our freedoms with one of our own. If we continue sending the same people to Washington, we will get the same results. William is a USAF veteran who cannot stand idle while our freedoms are being eroded. While in office he would not go along to get along. You can learn more at http://williamlee2014.blogspot.com/. Raised on my family farm in central Illinois, I have called the Fox Valley home for decades. My community volunteer experience led to elected experience on the Oswego School Board, Kendall County Board (Economic Development, Zoning chair), Forest Preserve and Illinois Republican Federation leadership prior to State Representative election in 2009. A professional who understands both our physical and social service infrastructure (Illinois Bell, Senior Services), I was named Legislator of the Year for my collaborative problem solving. My first term conservative voting record has earned high marks from the United Republican Fund, Illinois' oldest, independent Republican organization. Experience counts.
Seventeen years ago when I was first elected as your State Senator, I made three promises: To work hard, stay honest and use common sense. I have kept those promises to you. “Common sense” to me is the Republican Platform: pro-life, pro-Constitution (including the Second Amendment), pro-traditional family, and a whole bunch less government, and more freedom. To the best of my ability, this is how I have voted and my voting record is the closest to the Republican Platform of any member in the Illinois General Assembly. Together our priorities are trust in God and the United States Constitution. www.lauzen.com
