Stan Bond Memorial Scholarship
The Stan Bond Memorial Scholarship of $500 will be awarded for the 2019–20 school year to a student residing in the Western Townships of Kane County (see map) who will be attending an accredited 2- or 4-year college or a private high school.
The scholarship will be awarded based on a 500-word essay on “What Freedom of Speech Means To Me.”
Deadline: Submissions must be received by July 28, 2019, at 11:59 pm
Students who live in the Kane County townships of Hampshire, Rutland, Burlington, Plato, Virgil, Kaneville, Blackberry, Big Rock and Sugar Grove.

The winner will be notified by August 31, 2019. Funds will be distributed directly to the winner’s school.
