In 2021 Gerald Gallagher of Montgomery (majoring in Finance at High Point University in North Carolina) earned the award for his essay on "Cancel Culture".    Gerald is pictured below with his family and accepting the award from Marion Bond.

In 2020 Daniel DeBoer of Sugar Grove (majoring in Actuarial Science at Aurora University) won the award for his essay on the topic of "Capitalism vs Socialism".
